- Some moisture and dirt will collect between the magnet and metal surface, particularly in out side applications (car signs).
- Remove and clean both the magnet and surface with mild detergent and allow both to dry. For car signs, repeat the cleaning process weekly.
- To protect the new clear coat/base coat and vinyl surfaces present on new cars and trucks, we recommend daily removal of magnetic signs. We do not recommend applying magnetic sheet to repainted surfaces.

Never Fold a Wet Banner!
Far too many people rush to follow the first rule, and dutifully take their banner or flag indoors, only to fold it up while it's wet! This can cause discoloration in the flag and lead to mildew or rotting if left folded for and extended period of time. A wet fold can become permanent crease. Let your banner dry on a clothesline, where it can dry evenly and quickly.
Stop Rips and Tears in Their Tracks
If you notice a small rip or tear in your banner, take steps to repair it immediately. Banners are very durable, and can take some abuse, but a small rip left untended will eventually widen into a tear.
How Do I Clean My Banner?
It's alright to use a mild detergent, cool water, on a gentle cycle, to clean your banner.
